A management consultant for almost 30 years, focused on strategy, organisation and change management and specialised in strategy execution. He spent 7 years in the consulting firm founded by Drs Kaplan and Norton, is Adjunct Faculty for Strategy Execution at GIBS, and has trained more than 10,000 delegates across Southern Africa.

How do I book a course?

Our courses run on set dates during the year. Choose Pre-book your seat on the course, with no obligation. We’ll come back to you with the date, the venue and availability, and keep your seat for you.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. The prices shown exclude VAT. The Master course is priced on request, and the price of the Online course is still to be defined.

Can a course run in house for our team?

Yes. Every course can run in house, tailored to your strategy and your people. Talk to us about in-house training

Where are the in-person courses held?

The ½ day course is presented in partnership with the JSE Training Academy, at the JSE offices in Sandton, or in open training. Other in-person courses run in Johannesburg, and in-house courses run at your offices. We confirm the venue with the date.

Which course should I start with?

New to strategy execution? Start with the ½ day course. For the full method in depth, choose the 2 day course, or the sustainability course if you lead sustainability or ESG. The 3 day Master is for people who already know the method and will lead it. Compare the courses

Do I need to know the method already?

Only for the Master in Strategy Execution. It is purely practical, so it needs a prior understanding of the methodology, such as the “How to Execute your Strategy” training. The other courses start from the beginning.

Are the courses certified?

Yes. The ½ day course is certified by The Strategy Tribe, and the 2 day, sustainability and Master courses by Global Strategy Tribe. The brochure has the details.

Who presents the courses?

Courses are led by Fernando Baz, GIBS Adjunct Faculty for Strategy Execution and a Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Bootcamp trainer, together with expert consultants who have implemented the model on real projects.

What do I take home?

The practical work-plans and templates our experts use on real strategy execution projects, so you can apply the method in your own organisation.

Is there an online option?

Yes. Strategy Execution Online is an online Zoom version of the 2 day training, so you can join from anywhere, anytime. The price is still to be defined.
